FITZROVIA NOIR PRESENTING THE TOP 100

London-based group Fitzrovia Noir in conjunction with Jealous Gallery
presents TOP100 an art exhibition with music as its inspiration. The
final show brings together all the work from both rounds and will have
a limited edition print produced by the Jealous Gallery print experts
of the Number 1.
The TOP100 an open submission exhibition inspired by music, lyric,
song or a homage to a favourite artist showcases album-sized 2D
original photography, painting, print, drawing, and collage
The works were selected and judged by representatives from art and
music backgrounds over two rounds of exhibitions. The first show took
place in the PRS’s main building in central London and the second
round at The Great Escape music festival in Brighton.
Having already had 5000 visitors TOP100 has proved to be a great
success this final show at Jealous Gallery gives you the chance to
vote for your own number 1 and the opportunity of winning an original
All work will be for sale with a percentage donated to the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The show will run from the 4th – 14th June check the Gallery website

Presenting the TOP100
Submission is now closed
The TOP 100 is an open submission art exhibition inviting artists to submit work inspired by a piece of music, lyric or a musical artist. This could be a fantasy album cover for a favourite artist or an interpretation of a song or lyric. Artists can interpret in photography, painting, print, drawing, graphics, comic strip, collage or whatever medium you choose as long as it’s 12″x12″ and a 2D print not an original art work.
The Exhibitions: 100 works will be selected for each of the two rounds and wall hung at 3 shows: PRS for Music for round one selected work, The Great Escape Festival in Brighton for work selected for round two and a final show with all selected work from both rounds at Jealous Gallery in Crouch End, were the Number one will be announced and awarded with their prize.
The Prize: The winner ( Number 1) will work with Jealous Gallery to have their winning entry produced into a limited edition print that will become part of the galleries stable of contemporary art prints. The work and artist will be promoted through the galleries website and ongoing exhibitions programme.
The Judging: The work will be judged by well-placed representatives from the art world and music industry. The judges will select their personal top 5 for each round that will be given additional promotion both on our website and at the shows themselves. The winner will be selected from the judges selections by Jealous Gallery.
The promotion of the shows will be accompanied by a free CD of unsigned bands’ music.
